So... life... fast now...

*Ahem*

D and I get our crap worked out to a stable point and have plans for future that involve going separate ways. Things between us stabilize. This leads me to work hardcore on getting the job at Piazo and landing an Audition with the Underground Tour to be a tour Guide on nights and weekends. Xbox 360 breaks again. Hand in two week notice being Maintenance Supervisor at the Lowman Building. Current Boss does not handle resignation well as it will lead to more work for him and having to get used to a new guy. I am working my ass off to make sure New Guy has all the crap he needs and Current Boss does not freak out. First Girlfriend Ever raises out of the depths of facebook and gets in touch. I find out she spent a year in Tiawan Teaching ESL (English as a Second Language), Took Belly Dancing, and Plays World of Warcraft. I remember how we broke up and have been dealing with the guilt of that as it decided to bite me on the ass for no good reason as I thought that case was closed.. I thwart a major robbery. Crystal Meth and a Gun are found on some of the items they dropped. I make peace with the owner of Utilikilts and have a meeting with them about business later this week. I am making plans to go to Portland to Visit good friends. I am doing my taxes by myself for the first time. The Girl From New Paltz best friend Rises up out of the Depths of facebook and contacts me. More old feelings surface. I have a birthday coming up next week. I am talking with the First Girlfriend Ever on Skype on Sunday.

All of this happened in the past week.

I'm tired. Very tired.

However, I consider this is all good stuff as it means my life is climbing to the next plateau. Its just how my life works.

I need to go hiking or something.

Someday, I'm going to figure out what this Facebook thing is that people talk about that is causing you so many ripples, but overall, I'm glad that things are on the up and up for you :)

See you next weekend!

as far as i can tell, Facebook is an electronic version of the thing they gave you at the start of freshman year of college. it's about as useful to me.

i think of it as MySpace, but tasteful. it's a great tool for stalking people.

Hey, did you get the email I sent you about [info]toast3r's casting call?

I did. I for got to mention that in the above post. If I put some effort into it I'm pretty sure I could make it. But doing so will take a bit of thought and a LOT of planning.

Thank you very much for sending it my way. It looks like something right up my alley.

No problem. I just wanted to make sure it didn't find its way into a spam filter.

Uh... woot... I think...?

Sounds like quite a hectic week, at any rate!

Yikes, dude. I hope your life settles down soon. Or that the chaos at least stays pleasant.

I seem to recall a conversation that we had once about times during which one feels like you are the main character of your own life, vs times when you feel like a secondary character is the movie of life in general. Sounds like this might be a transitional period. Which is to say, good for you, if exhausting.

I recall the same conversation. NPC vs. PC I think we called the topic. How you put it above sounds far more intellectual.

I think I'll go with yours. :)

I'm ashamed to say that I knew EXACTLY what a NPC was without even having to think about it.

I was/am only FRIENDS with gamers. Not really a gamer myself. This shouldn't infect my vocabulary so completely!

In any event, I'm happy that these all sound like positive things and hope that it's at a reasonable "social volume" for you! (I'm not sure that makes sense, but you'll get the gist...)

Whoah. I can relate to the crazy, fast-paced, people popping out of the effing walls periods of time. When it rains, it pours, eh?

*goes to friend you on Facebook*

Dear Jacob,
Earlier in the week I was thinking how much I miss you. I'm glad you posted. At least life is interesting.
